Getting Started
It's exciting to see an orthodontist for the very first time and think about your new smile. At Clauss Orthodontics in Watertown and Woodbury, our new patient consultations are always free of charge.
Even if you decide not to get braces — or just want a second opinion — we’re here to answer any questions you have so you can make an informed decision about the future of your smile.
Schedule Your Appointment
When you call us or use the form on our site, our staff will collect your information so everything's on file at the time of your appointment.
We’ll also ask you to complete your new patient forms to complete prior to your arrival. This saves you time and allows us to see you more quickly.
When You Arrive
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your first appointment to complete any additional new patient paperwork and start the check-in process. Be sure to bring a copy of your insurance card.
X-Ray and Exam
Our treatment coordinator will give you a tour of our office and answer any questions that you might have. Then, we will take a series of digital photos, a full mouth digital X-ray, and possibly a digital iTero scan (“virtual impression”).
In some cases, we may also take a 3D cone beam scan to assess more complex bite issues. All of these images are included in your free initial exam.
