Meet Dr. Mark Clauss, Your Woodbury Orthodontist

Dr. Clauss earned his dental degree in 2000 from Temple University and practiced general dentistry for 5 years before continuing his professional education to become an orthodontic specialist. He returned to school at SUNY Buffalo in 2005 to complete his post-doctoral specialty training in orthodontics and graduated in 2007. In 2017, Dr. Mark purchased his practice and rebranded the practice as Clauss Orthodontics in order to continue treating the patients and families in the Woodbury area.

Dr. Mark Clauss takes any opportunity he can to further and continue his education and knowledge of treatments, such as the Invisalign system.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Mark volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and enjoys skiing, restoring classic cars and spending time with his wife and son.

If you'd rather skip brackets altogether, Invisalign uses a series of removable clear aligners that gradually shift your teeth into place. They're nearly invisible, and you can take them out to eat, brush and floss.
