How It Works
Your case starts by digitally scanning your mouth using the iTero Scanner at Clauss Orthodontics. As we plan how to move your teeth, your aligners are created to facilitate that movement.
Once your scan's complete, Dr. Clauss maps out your treatment plan. This includes the exact movements of your teeth and how long he expects your treatment to last.
He’ll view these images with you, and you’ll be able to see how your teeth will move. You’ll even get the chance to preview your new smile.
About every two weeks, you change your aligner out and feel a little pressure. It’s this sensation that triggers the teeth to adjust and move toward the preferred location.
Invisalign aligners are only meant to be removed during meals and for oral hygiene purposes. For best results, you should plan to wear your trays for a minimum of 22 hours per day.
